A Skylit Drive: "Identity On Fire"

Hope you all had a nice St. Pattys day, i know i did. I come from an extremely Irish family so i celebrate. But i don't have the accent though. I also had a great B-day party in case any of you were wondering. Anyways, let's get down to FREGGEN' business. A Skylit Drive, one of my favorite post-hardcore bands EVA'! Their new album "Identity On Fire" was released on the 15th of February. Little over a month ago now. Lead singer Michael "Jag" Jagmin's vocals are powerful and great as usual. My favorite song of the album is probably "Too Little, Too Late."

I also like "The Cali Buds." And the synthy ending to "If you lived here, you'd be home" is pretty, um, seductive? Can i say that? lmao. Alright, i'll say it's a beautiful fade-out.

If you guys are fans, definitely check them out. This album has a little more punk side to it aside from their past albums. alright yo, see ya later! ;)

The King Of CRUNK!!! \\// Confirmed [Partial] Tracklist

Yesterday, June 8th, Lil' Jon, released his album debut; "Crunk Rock." Apparently, the King Of Crunk ain't dead, and he's got lots of featured artists on his album such as, LMFAO, The Game, Pitbull, Ying Yang Twins, Soulja Boy, 3OH!3, and more! Speaking of which, 3OH!3's song "Hey" actually made it on Crunk Rock, opposed to me and many others thinking it would be on Streets Of Gold. Give or take, 'Hey' is a hot, uprising song that, (If i'm not surprised,) would hit radios in the near future. Crunk Rock also features the song "Shots" which is also on LMFAO's album Party Rock. [Personally, lot's of Electro/Hip-Hop/Crunk Artists seem to name their albums a type of rock...Party Rock, Crunk Rock, etc, but their genre isn't rock at all.] If you're into the Electro/Hip-Hop/Crunk genre, then get Lil' Jon's new album!

On a side note, I have done some research on 3OH!3, and I have a confirmed tracklist on Streets Of Gold. (Well, a partial tracklist.)

---> Hit It Again apparently isn't going to be appearing on Streets Of Gold because, according to Nat, he said the song was "dead." They played it at their live shows throughout the past year, but never recorded it. They seem to have thrown it away and just forgot about it. I think, and I know all you fans out there love it just as much as I do. So, to try and get Hit It Again recorded and released, luckily, this guy on youtube made a video about this online petition he made. There's this website that allows you to make official petitions and sign them. It has happened many times before. For example, Jeffree Star's recent song "Blush" was recorded and released because of a petition. And he used to only play it at live shows. So, we can do the same for 3OH!3. C'mon Fans! WE WANNA HIT IT AGAIN!!!!! ;)

OLD PEOPLE CAN SING?! \\// Holidays.

As some of you know, Susan Boyle's album came out the 23rd. Her top song is "I dreamed A Dream." Her genre is Pop/Soul. It all started when she was on Britain's Got Talent. When her turn came, everyone laughed, and doubted her, but when she sang, it lifted up many peoples spirits. Now, she got a recording deal and her first album came out. Her music isn't my cup of tea, but I personally don't hate her. I think it's great an older women like her still pursued her dream and now she is having the time of her life. Congrats to her. Anyways, Some people say she is the Women version of Joshua Grobin, except older. (I'm not sure if that's a compliment to Joshua, or an insult.)

Time To "Pop" Things Up A Bit...

Okay, time to review a Pop artist...Katy Perry.

She is known for her popular songs; "I Kissed A Girl" "Hot N Cold" "Thinking Of You" and "Waking Up In Vegas." My favorite of the 4, being Waking Up In Vegas. Anyways...her genre is Pop with some Dance/Electronica in it... and a couple songs even have a Rock-like attitude. She enjoys listening to 3OH!3, and Adam Lambert. [Guy from American Idol, Season 8. Runner-up.]

It all started a couple years ago...that's when Katy Perry started to get noticed. She is still making music and will never stop. (Well, that's what she says...if she has an emotional breakdown or goes emo, or gets killed, or anything else, then she probably will stop...)

Okay, anyways...moving on...

Fans, and for those of you that don't know, she remixed 3OH!3's "Starstrukk" and is featured in it! Also, there has been rumors that she is making a song with...guess who? Any guesses? Who do you think? Anyone? Huh? Well...it's...the one and only...Little Miss Disco Stick! Lady GaGa!

Wow...i'm not really a fan of her, and it's just a rumor, so...if you guys are fans of them, be happy! You never know what could happen! ;)

iTunes Hates Kid Rock?!

As I'm sure some of you know, iTunes doesn't have Kid Rock on there. Kid Rock? You know, The Rockin' Roll dude that sings "All Summer Long." -- The 'spin-off' song from Sweet Home Alabama. Anyways...none of his songs are on there to buy/download. If some of you are wondering why, well... here's the answer:

Kid Rock doesn't anyone to just buy his single, or buy a few songs from the online album. He doesn't even like people to buy the whole online album cuz then you can thrown them away after, modify them, etc...
He wants you to buy the whole album from the store. If you want to listen to Kid Rocks' songs, you gotta' buy the whole album! Enjoy every song. After reading this, i'm sure some of you are thinking: "Wow. Kid Rock must seem kinda' cranky about this thing. He should chill." Well, I agree, plus it's his choice. And he just loves his music so much, he wants his true fans to enjoy all songs. He actually a really nice guy.

Rudolf The Kevin-Nosed Reindeer...

Kevin Rudolfs' album: "In The City" has reached #8 in the rock category. Way-to-go Kevvy!

In other news, Kevin is working on another album. No info on when it's comming out. Just gotta' wait.

His genre is rock/pop with a little hiphop because his songs feature some famous rappers! Such as Rick Ross [Welcome to the world] Nas [NYC] and Lil' Wayne [Let it rock]

The first song, In the city, i'd give it 3/5. not his best song. Okay though...

Let it rock - great song 5/5 first single. woo!

I song - 3/5 okay...not my favorite or the fans fav.

Livin it up 4/5 good song!

Breathe Carolina, Breathe! It's Time To Gossip!

Breathe Carolina consists of 2 guys from colorado. Kyle, & David. Before they became big, they were just 2 guys on MySpace, posting up their newbie songs. Now, they have an album. (It's Classy, Not Classic.)

One song is also featured on the Rise Spring/Summer Sampler Album. It's called "Gossip."

My personal favorite song by them. It is their 5th most popular song. Other higher popular songs are Diamonds, Birds & The Bees, That's Classy, and See You Again. (A remake of Miley Cyrus'.)

I am going to review a few songs from their album:

1.) The Birds And The Bees. -- Their Genre is a mixture of Electronica/Screamo/Alternative/Pop. This is their most popular song. Great dance/electro beats.
2.) That's Classy. -- Same thing as Birds and the bees. Their songs all seem similar, but if you're true fans, you'd see the difference. I really enjoy listening to them! Electro/Dance/Pop
3,4,5.) Gossip, Diamonds, + See you again: -- All great songs. Nothing really to say. They are electronica/thrash.

Sorry. Not much of a review. Lol, kinda' sleepy.

Also, their song Gossip is a great song to dance too! Listen to it! It's my favorite song!

Lots of people are acually gossiping about it, saying that the song is making a huge jump. It could soon be their 2nd popular song.

Hollywood Undead - Swan Songs - Review

Hollywood Undead! (A.K.A. - The "Undead.")

Their latest album; "Swan Songs."

Hollywood Undeads' members are; [from left to right] Da Kurlzz, Charlie Scene, Johnny 3 Tears, Deuce, J-Dog, & Funny Man. {They had a 7th member: Shady Jeff. -- But he left soon after.}

Their top songs off swan songs are: Undead, Young, No. 5, Everywhere I Go, & Black Dahlia.

One of my favorite bands! :)

There is not much to say or review about their album. It's just a mixture of rap/alternative/rock/hiphop/and thrash.

Their songs are really explicit though. :o

Hope you all had a great 4th of July! I know I did! We went to the town parade, saw fireworks, and then hung out @ my aunt's house. We made smores. YUM!!! :)
