Song Shout-Outs! "Need You" + "Hear Me Now"
First up, is "Need You" by Travie McCoy off his album Lazarus. He was formally from the band Gym Class Heroes. It's a fun catchy upbeat pop/alternative track that i personally think is great. If you like Mr. McCoy, check out this song. [Take note that some of his songs have rap elements, this one does not, it's straight-up singing]
-
Also, A recent track by Hollywood Undead called "Hear Me Now." As some of you know, Deuce has been replaced by Daniel Wallace, i believe that's his name, correct me if i'm wrong. Nothing against Deuce, but i think this new singer guy has awesome vocals and makes the song sound totally awesome!!! Check out this Alternative Rap sensation!!
[also, for fans of Deuce, check out his new project he's trying to work on, called 9 Lives. check 'em out on Youtube]
Wanna hear a tid-bit 'bout Deuce. In most of the hollywood undead pictures, Deuce always wheres a tank top that says 9lives on it. BOO YAH. lol

okay, see ya'll later.

Bring On 2011! \\// Old Classic Country!
BOOOOOO-YAAAHHH !!!
--
Okay, anyways, it's time to post a little bit of classic country music. My Grandfather loves old classic country so, this goes out to him! :)
If you'd like, look up a song called Wildwood Flower. It's a great instrumental on guitar. It's like, 2, maybe 2 1/2 minutes long i think. The version i'm talkin' about is by Chet Atkins. It was originally by the Carter Family. Old classic country songs like this one are actually very difficult to play on guitar. They're not that popular, but old country-styled guitars were actually much more talented, and better players than todays popular guitarists. Even those world famous rockstars; Jimi Hendricks, Joe Santriani, Eddie Van Halen, Slash, Carlos Santana, Ozzy Osborne, etc... honestly, [and its been proved] those oldies playin classic country have the real talent.
So, if u wanna expand your genre preference, give the song a listen!
okay everybody, Til i update again..................................BYE!!!

Getting Ready For The Holidays! \\// Song Shout-Out!
Christmas, Hanuka, Kwanzaa, other holidays, have a wonderful and merry winter season. I for one, am excited for Christmas. The family parties we have are so fun and crazy. My Dad has 6 brothers and we always have a blast. Gotta love life! ...sometimes...hehe...
-
Also, it's time for...not a band shout-out, but another song shout-out!
The song is called "Semi-Charmed Life" by the 90's Alternative band Third Eye Blind. It's such a fun great song, and you will all love it and it will get stuck in your head. It puts you in a happy great mood. Although, for those that don't know, the song is actually about drugs and sex and isn't very appropriate, but the way the band created is such in a positive happy amazing way, that you don't even realize it. Give it a listen, and you'll be hooked. [ha. ha.]
okay everybody, peace!!!!!!!!

Unique Song Shout-Out!
It's by Pop/R&B/Funk artist Cee Lo Green. And...his smash hit is called... [*Drum Roll*]
F••• YOU!
....Yes, that's correct. The way the song starts out, it seems pretty calm and laid-back, not expecting any harmful words... BUT..... NOOOOOPE.
This is actually one explicit song, but it's catchy and the fans love it!
CHECK IT OUT!!!

Also, I am deeply SO sorry for the like, 1-month wait. [actually, a little over a month] If you thought i stopped the blog, or thought i wasn't gonna update for a loooong time, well, that's not gonna happen. I am back. Just, the thing is, back to school, blah blah blah, and it's been hard to get on and stuff. But you all know that in the summer i update a lot. But i will tell you know, with school, it will be a little harder. I think if you know before, i took a break in the past cuz i felt overwhelmed, well, i might kinda need to take another one. but I am NOT, under ANY circumstances, going to stop this blog. I am trying to go for the 3 year mark, then i will see where i am and what i should do. Then, my big goal is 5 years. so, i will try to do this for 5 years! then after that, i will feel accomplished, then hopefully later on in life, i will either stop the blog officially at an appropriate time, or hopefully, i might still update it here and there, once in a while maybe, idk. But as of right now, and until further notice, i will be taking a break from updating my music blog. Although i hope to update at least once a month. That is how i usually want it to go. So, thank you, sorry the inconvenience, and see ya! More updates on waaaaaaay!!!! (Hopefully ;))

Sorry For The Wait! \\// Any "Pop-Hop" Fans?
--
On another note, I am going to talk about the slang genre "Pop-Hop." As I'm sure the title speaks for itself, but it's a mixture of Pop, and Hip Hop. There are also usually blends of Alternative and Electronica in there. This genre is great music to dance to! I will list a few bands that have that Pop-Hop vibe, and /or are related to this genre in some way. (With Similar elements.)
-Stereos
-Down With Webster
-Metro Station
-3OH!3
-The Greenlight District
-Hyper Crush
-Mike Posner
-T Mills
-Young & Divine
If you are fans of the Pop-Hop Genre, than check out these bands. ;)

Beauty And The Beast
Beauty and the Beast is a musical band term for how the bands vocals are set up.
Usually a post-hardcore related band, a screamer [usually male] in the band obviously does growls, screams, shouts, roars, and hardcore stuff to give it a metal hardcore edge. that person is known to as "The Beast." And, a clean vocalist, who sings the clean vocals with fairly high voice and it sounds pure, beautiful and great and gives it an amazing part to the song. This person is known as "The Beauty." Now, just cuz a band is post-hardcore/nu-metal and has a clean vocalist and screamer, doesn't mean that they can be classified as a "Beauty and Beast" band. The band must have dual [two] vocals, which means to different people, the percentage of screams and clean singing must BE or very close to 50%-to-50%, and the beast is usually a male, and the beauty is usually a female. now, there are some exceptions and i did say USUALLY.
Some examples of Beauty and the Beast bands are;
Eyes Set To Kill
IWrestledABearOnce
A Skylit Drive
Of Mice & Men
Isles & Glaciers
This Romantic Tragedy
In This Moment
Check these bands out! And see ya! ;)

The Mega Chart Toppers Of Today!
"DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love" -- By Usher featuring Pitbull. A very fun upbeat Dance/Club hip-hop song. The chorus is filled with sweet hooks and is great! Always leaves you happy and right when the song starts to die down, Pitbull shows up and raps his little part. amazing!
"Love The Way You Lie" -- By Eminem with Rihanna. This starts out like a pretty fair song with piano and Rihanna singing, then turns into Eminem rapping the first verse strong, with emotional feeling. Very hardcore Rap-ish with Hip-hop and elements of R&B and Pop. Can't forget this one!
"Dynamite" -- Taio Cruz. A happy fun meaningless upbeat song about partying and lighting up the clubs (like dynamite.) A well-used mixture of Pop/Dance/Hiphop/Club. This song will always keep you in a good spirit if you just wanna let go.
"Magic" -- B.o.B & Rivers Cuomo [from Weezer] This song is completely AMAZING and one of my personal favorite songs. It blends Electronica&Dance with Pop and Hip-hop/Rap. The chorus sung by Cuomo is extremely fun and catchy and you just gotta love it and dance to it. Aside from Rivers making Alternative music with Weezer, he is now doing Dance related songs with popular artists. [B.o.B, Kevin Rudolf, and there are even rumors that Rivers Cuomo is doing a song with 3OH!3. Possibly to be a new amazing single.] Give this song a listen!
"California Gurls" -- Katy Perry feat. Snoop Dogg -- Very Poppy with a little dance to it. it gets stuck in your heard but if you're a fan, it's a pretty swell song. then, out of nowhere, Snoop Dogg starts rapping at the bridge. Katy made a hit and is jumping thru the charts.
"I Like It." -- Enrique Iglesias feat. Pitbull. An amazing club party dance hiphop song that uses appropriate elements of Hispanic lyrics and twists. gives you a great vibe and the chorus keeps you up in your seat. it's GREAT!!!
"Teenage Dream" -- Katy Perry. Good fun popular upcoming pop song off Katy Perrys new to be released album. it's getting more popular on the radio. give it a listen if you're a fan.
"Cooler Than Me" -- Mike Posner. With elements of Dance, Electronica, Funk, Hiphop, Pop, and Alternative, this song is a great club banger tune. If you are fans of 3OH!3, then you'd probably like this song. believe it or not, but the boyz from 3OH!3 helped Mike out a lot throughout his career. great song, check it out!
Well, I could name songs all day, but as of right now, these ones are MEGA! give them a listen and tell me ya' faves! ;)
okay, see ya! ;)

[P.S. -- here's a little 3OH!3 tid-bit for you curious fans out there...---> These are the artists that 3OH!3 helped out a lot and were part of the reason why they are famous, their album, etc...

Motionless In White Shout-Out!!!
Motionless In White is a Post-Hardcore/Grindcore/Punk/Alternative/Electronica band that consists of 6 very shady band members. A Lead singer, 2 guitar players, a bass player, drummer, and a keyboards/synths player. Their most popular and recent EP "When Love Met Destruction" has some very unique songs with very disturbing lyrics. And if you are fans of; A Day To Remember, The Devil Wears Prada, We Came As Romans, A Girl A Gun A Ghost, HIM, I Set My Friends On Fire, In Fear And Faith, Isles & Glaciers, Iwrestledabearonce, Of Mice & Men, A Skylit Drive, Slipknot, The Word Alive, and Bring Me The Horizon, then you'll like this band.
Their top songs are; To Keep From Getting Burned, Ghost In The Mirror, The Seventh Circle, and, Whatever You Do Don't Push The Big Red Button. I know there are a lot of bands out there with weird song names and they are about some creepy unusual death/dying/decaying disgusting stuff, -- but this band takes the Gold. For example; Some lyrics from "...The Big Red Button" are; "This will be, our little, sweet 666. Be still my love for we cannot be scene." and, "I bet I f***ed more dead girls than you." Also, from "Ghost In The Mirror"; "Can your heart still brake if it's already stopped beating." and "Never take your pulse for granted again." and "Everyday is a funeral, and I'm not afraid of being alone." and some lyrics from "...From Getting Burned"; "Everything that you ever loved will be taken away the moment you shut your eyes."
...and etc... -- Okay, I think i made my point. Now, I am NOT trashing the band in any way. I am just telling you their style and what they sing about. I personally like them, not because of the lyrics, but only because of the actual music. The way they strum their guitars, stop for a sec, and then hammer it quick and repeat strumming. Also, because of the clean vocals singer. I personally like bands they have a very Punk/Post-Hardcore/Heavy Metal/Alternative music sound except the vocals are singing only and they are kind of on a more emotional higher pitched level. Kind of like the band "Broadway." They have that hardcore/punk sound but there is LITTLE screaming and the clean vocals are great. Anyways, yeah, that's what I like about them.
Okay, check em out! ;)

Oh, and America, I know you're like, a ka-gillion years old, and you don't have any more skin cleanser to take away those nasty wrinkles and pimples, but trust me. You're still beautiful! God bless the USA! ;)
Also, If you're all wondering why this post is in color, and all of my others posts down to the Weezer post was only one boring white color, but then when I first started my blog in color, and you're wondering what the heck happened, well...here's the answer:
Back then, all of my posts up to the Weezer post was in color, but then it became white only. Well, because of my pure stupidity, I thought there was some kinda blogger update and I lost my color and font toolbars. so, I was like; Damn it! Oh well, a little less color wont stop me; -- Anyways, those toolbars never went away. On the upper right corner, there is two toolbar tabs, and I was under the blank one which ment no color or font/text options. And, this other one was WITH font and color toolbars, i just never noticed it and never clicked on it. Wow, my bad. Anyways, now there will be more color! Curse my stupidity! I guess I just bumped it one day. Oh Freakin well.

~ ! ! ! I HAVE A HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT ! ! ! ~
"My Dad, Mom, Siblings, Family, all of my friends, God, Jesus, The Creators of Blogger, Bill Gates, Myself, Everyone that ever checked out my blog, followers, fans, comments, everybody, and...especially, the one person who I couldn't have done it without...My amazing, spirit lifting, music loving, kind, one-in-a-million friend that nobody can ask for more, the person that always advertised my blog, always had hope for me, picked me up when I was down, helped me throughout, Everything that I could ever need -- is standing right in front of me, the ***soundtrack of my summer, who's eyes are the brightest of all the colors, she'll always be my thunder, so bring on the rain.......SHALIA!*** Stay as awesome as you are!" <3 =)
Thanks again everyone!
Also, the 2nd part of this big announcement is this:
In the past, my friends and I always had a dream to be in a band together. In the past we did little things, for fun [*I can't say the name of our old bands and where you can find our little sample demo music because of copyright issues, conflict of interest, unnecessary advertisement on blogger, and because we're not part of it anymore*] but we didn't really get anymore. we tried real hard after making up lies and just...forget it. But...now...I have some great news. On my 100th post I said I had a big surprise for you all! Well, I am officially going to start a legit music project! I just got a job now working at a grocery store, and other little side jobs, and, a couple of my friends and I have been going to music stores like GUITAR CENTER and we've found some great recording/music making software and equipment and stuff! So, I'm gonna buy a couple things here and there to make a mini recording/music making studio thingy in either my basement or this unused storage room above my garage. Since then, I've wrote a bunch of songs, I can play guitar, sing, and a little bit of like, piano and keyboard stuff, and I got some other musically talented friends to help me. I'm not sure if I'm gonna just make the actual music by myself or maybe have a 2 or 3 person band. We don't really have a name yet, so don't ask, but I do have a couple good ideas. Also, if you're wondering about our genre, then think of this: 'EVERYTHING!' There's going to be music from pop, to screamo; Punk, to Country; Electro/Dancy stuff to alternative; Some Crunk/Hip-hop/rap stuff to some solid rock; Experimental stuff all around to like, simple spiritual stuff. EVERYTHING! [Ha ha! Take that itunes! In yo face. Try classifying us when we put our album on itunes eventually!] On the downside, I don't know how long it will take. It could be a while but my music project is officially underway! We don't have a myspace, and won't for a while. Anyways, It'll be much easier when I can actually drive a car. (I'm almost there though!) My guess is that it could take years for us to put out an E.P. and get it on itunes. I don't wanna be the next Justin Beiber or something so i'll probably wait til we're between 17 or 18 -- then we'll try to expose ourselves, advertise, and try to make it big! (Haha...Everybody in the world just wants to be a rockstar... <:( I really hope I can make a life doing this! If not, I'll be a Spanish teacher or translator or a freggen Spanish spy or something. Or, A graphic designer or artist.) Alrighty...thanks for reading! Oh, and p.s. to Shalia, I'll be sure to make you the first one to get our demo music, all I ask is to not post it anywhere online. ;) And I promise, one day in life, as the years go on, we WILL meet face to face [***Lol, and Zeke to hopefully! ;)***] Wish me luck everybody, and I got some more GREAT posts on the waaaaaaaaaaaaaay! ;)

The Moment We've All Been Waiting For!!!
Streets Of Gold is finally out, and it sounds fabulous! I'm going to go through a track-by-track review.
1.) Beaumont 2.5/5 -- The intro off of Streets Of Gold. Just like Tapp from WANT. A minute long of strong beats and sturdy instrumentals. About a minute long. "3OH!3" is repeated in little bits numerous times while a scratchy synth and Electronic melodies play. Good intro. Sounds kinda familiar -- cuz it was used in their 2 minute weekly streets of gold Webisodes. Good way to start off the album
2.) I Can Do Anything 5/5 -- A great, strong, fun, explicit track to begin the streets of gold march. While the whole album is going mainstream pop/dance/electronica this track has a little hip-hop/crunk vibe. The 'gangsta' verses lead into the proud and victorious chorus melody. Great track! One of my favorites. Might hit the radios in the future.
3.) My First Kiss 5/5 -- Another popular and strong track. Ke$ha is featured a bit throughout it. This track is already on the radio. It was created last year to the public around march. And now, since the studio version has been released, it's a great hit! Has a unique pop vibe throughout. This will be a certain track to remember. A very good song!
4.) Deja Vu 3.5/5 -- When this was first released I LOVED it! The verses were great small dance intros which lead to the catchy "dance-to" chorus. If you listen to it, and then listen to Tik Tok by Ke$ha, I think you will see the resemblance. The bridge part right after the 2nd chorus keeps the song flowing and then brings it to an electronic close. Well Done!
5.) We Are Young 4/5 -- A good track which shows off their electronica side. The verses are steady and the chorus slowly "Jumps Out of the hat" thanks to a drum pause. Enforces a good meaning. Very good and has a tricky kick to it. Nice!
6.) Touchin On My 3/5 -- Great track when it first came out as a single. If there were actually swears where the beeps were, then this track can definitely sound and relate to their older stuff. Still a popular track. Good Job!
7.) House Party 2/5 -- An okay song. I was much more happy with it when they leaked it in the past. A little different. It's their weakest song off the album. Chorus is dry, verses sound not complete. Still a nice track to listen too. It's more of a filler song, just to fill up the album. I wish they could of replaced this track with Hit It Again. The best part of the song though is when a guitar actually comes in for once and plays and strums some riffs to make the chorus stronger. Not Bad!
8.) R.I.P. 3.75/5 -- A more calm and slower song. Has some very entertaining lyrics if you listen to them. It's actually a very unique track and I think it's a great addition to Streets Of Gold! Awesome song!
9.) I Know How To Say 3/5 -- Telling by the instrumental rhythms in the chorus, you can tell that this sounds really similar to an older different song by some other artist. A little different. Sill, A mainstream "Cheerleader" Pop song. Not their strongest. But not their worst. Good job!
10.) Double Vision 3/5 -- Not that popular and not really cared about. I personally like it alot though! A nice fun little summer song. Has that summery pop style. Good funky guitars are used during the verses. Nice one!
11.) I'm Not The One 4/5 -- A beautiful fun nice slower song. Definitely the song with the most meaning behind the lyrics. They did a great job here. Even though they're going mainstream, it's still a great song give or take. A little on the longer side, because most of their songs are between 3:00-3:20. Great work! I hope the rest of the fans will enjoy as much as I do!
12.) Streets Of Gold 3.75/5 -- A good song to enforce "Streets Of Gold." Has a great chorus and brings this album to another good mainstream point. Still on the pop side. Good job. Not my favorite track though. :)
13.) See You Go 3/5 -- A wicked short fun straight up catchy electro song. This brings back the great old 3OH!3. Very fun and a great way to bring the album to a close. Great job!
14.) Love 2010 2.5/5 -- Kind of a song on a different side. Odd, but can still be enjoyable. A slow electronic sound starts after each verse. Brings this album to a slow and curious goodbye. Okay job!
~~~~~~~~~
15.) Innerpartysystem remixed My First Kiss and made it much more electronic and longer. Obviously not a fan favorite. They should really make an actual song together.
16.) One of the Duo's newest friends, Andrew W.K. -- He remixed House Party To A More Suttle Rock version. It's faster and much better than the original in my opinion. Of course, for those of you that know Andrew W.K. real well, he puts a "harmless" Carnival-like merry-go-round part at the bridge. niiiiiice! ;)
-------------------------
All in all, streets of gold is a great album. I'm pretty sure they found their style. It's more mainstream pop with dance and electroncia. Back in WANT it was electronic/alternative with lots of hardcore rap/crunk stuff. Annnnnnd, in 2007, their first release: "3OH!3 self titled EP" It's just plain old modern Electronic music. With of course, a little bit of 3OH!3-ing it up to make it unique. The fans seem to still like their older rap/electronic stuff from WANT, rather than them going mainstream harmless pop music. People are considering them the Boy versions of Ke$ha. [Whatever, 3OH!3 got Ke$ha famous!] I could care less about what genre or whatever 3OH!3 is. If it has a good beat, then I like it! I'll always classify them as Electronica though. ;)
HOPE U ALL ENJOY STREETS OF GOLD!
Yeah, Okay! That's A Bunch Of BS!
Thanks! ;)
------
However...here is real possible legit rumor about them.
As you know, on their album, Rapper E-40 is featured on their song Booty Call. Well, some are saying that Brokencyde is going to be featured on E-40's upcoming album, if there is going to be one. However, if this isn't true, Don't Shoot The Messenger!
New/Recent/Upcoming Album Releases:
2.) "To The Sky" Kevin Rudolf's sophomore album was released this past week or so, and it seems to be a big hit. More Hip-Hop artists are featured on his album, and it has a slightly more pop/dance side to it. It's available now, and I'd say it's a step UP from In The City. ;)
3.) "Streets Of Gold" 3OH!3's 3rd album comes out next Tuesday, and it's going to be a HUGE hit nation-wide. There is 14 tracks on it, which includes, "House Party, My 1st Kiss, Touching On My, Deja Vu, Double Vision, I Can Do Anything, We Are Young, & Streets Of Gold." Those last to tracks I found a little while ago. There might also be some sort-of intro-type thingy like Tapp from WANT. So, that's like 8 tracks already known to the public. (Goodness...) Can't wait until June 29th! ;)
4.) "Can't Be Tamed" another album by Miley Cyrus which includes that Hit Single, and, her own cover of "Every Rose Has It's Thorn." She definitely popped it up a little bit...I'm not saying she butchered it, but NOTHING beats the original by Poison. There is also a remix available on itunes which feature......Lil Jon. Now, I'm not sure if the album is a maturing stage for Miley, or just a Rebel/breakout stage. The fans sure do enjoy it though! ;)
5.) "Crunk Rock" Another album by Lil Jon. It's been awhile, but he's back and bringing the crunk with him! Hot tracks are Hey, Shots, Outta Your Mind, & Ms. Chocolate. Just about Every song feature other artists. At least one of them is bound to hit radios. ;)
6.) "Scream" Ladies and Gentlemen...The Prince Of Darkness...The King Of Metal...The Guitar God...The Amazing and Talented...The One and only...Ozzy Ozborne has released an album called "Scream," And it is a smash. The true fans love it. It has many hot tracks on it, but nothing will ever compare to "Crazy Train." Nice job Ozzy! Say wazzup to Charron for me. ;)
7.) "EPIC" Blood On The Dance Floor's album that's going to be released around October 5th. This includes 20 great songs, some new, some old, some remixes, etc...You don't know what to expect when it comes down to BOTDF. Of Course, they can't release an album without having Jeffree Star being in a few of their songs. Haha...Be prepared fans for the Epic released.
------
I could go on and on...but I can't. Hope you enjoyed this post! More great stuff in the future! ;)
thx
SCHOOLS OUT! \\// Please Check Out This Band!
My last day of school was on Thursday, June 17. Yaaay! I can enjoy summer vacation now! But I gotta go back in September though again... (DAMN IT!) Oh well... ;)
-
Also, my dad is great friends with this guy Mike Palumbo at his work, and it just so happens that he's in a band. Their band is called "MASS" because they are from Massachusetts, and because Mass is another word for like, going to church or something. Anyways, they are a great Rock band, and have some amazing songs. They aren't on itunes, but you can check out their myspace. www.myspace.com/masstheband
Also, their album Sea Of Black just came out, and I got it for free from my Dad thanks to Mike. You can go on their website; www.massrocks.com and order their CD, posters, shirts, other merch, etc... My favorite song is called "Falling From Grace." Check 'em out on your free time! ;) (Mike Palumbo is the Bass player FYI)
The King Of CRUNK!!! \\// Confirmed [Partial] Tracklist
Yesterday, June 8th, Lil' Jon, released his album debut; "Crunk Rock." Apparently, the King Of Crunk ain't dead, and he's got lots of featured artists on his album such as, LMFAO, The Game, Pitbull, Ying Yang Twins, Soulja Boy, 3OH!3, and more! Speaking of which, 3OH!3's song "Hey" actually made it on Crunk Rock, opposed to me and many others thinking it would be on Streets Of Gold. Give or take, 'Hey' is a hot, uprising song that, (If i'm not surprised,) would hit radios in the near future. Crunk Rock also features the song "Shots" which is also on LMFAO's album Party Rock. [Personally, lot's of Electro/Hip-Hop/Crunk Artists seem to name their albums a type of rock...Party Rock, Crunk Rock, etc, but their genre isn't rock at all.] If you're into the Electro/Hip-Hop/Crunk genre, then get Lil' Jon's new album!
--
On a side note, I have done some research on 3OH!3, and I have a confirmed tracklist on Streets Of Gold. (Well, a partial tracklist.)
This 14-track album includes:
*House Party
*My First Kiss
*Touching On My
*Deja Vu
*Double Vision
*I Can Do Anything
--
For those that don't know, I Can Do Anything is a new track that the guys released on their website, www.3oh3music.com, for members only. You gotta sign up on the site to hear the song. You also get to watch the first 9 minutes of Streets Of Gold: The Documentary.
CHECK IT OUT!!!
- Josh
***UPDATE***
---> Hit It Again apparently isn't going to be appearing on Streets Of Gold because, according to Nat, he said the song was "dead." They played it at their live shows throughout the past year, but never recorded it. They seem to have thrown it away and just forgot about it. I think, and I know all you fans out there love it just as much as I do. So, to try and get Hit It Again recorded and released, luckily, this guy on youtube made a video about this online petition he made. There's this website that allows you to make official petitions and sign them. It has happened many times before. For example, Jeffree Star's recent song "Blush" was recorded and released because of a petition. And he used to only play it at live shows. So, we can do the same for 3OH!3. C'mon Fans! WE WANNA HIT IT AGAIN!!!!! ;)
Check out his youtube channel and watch his Hit It Again/Petition videos. Youtube.com/DavidisRAD6
3OH!3's Having A House Party...Are You In? \\// I'm Gonna Meet Obama?!
To all you 3OH!3 fans out there, they have released a new song along with the music video. It is called "House Party." The song is really good! It's one of their more fun meaningless simple songs. To classify it...um...probably Electro/Crunk. Throughout the song, it's Crunky/Rapy/Electroy, but near the end this slow punk guitar tunes in and makes the song more crunkrock. Then the chorus plays again and the songs seems CrunkRockish (Along with electro) It's a little different than what they usually do. It'll be on itunes soon, and remember...Their album "Streets Of Gold" comes around June 29th. :)
--
Also, this will be my last post more about a week or so. You wanna know why? Well, I'll tell ya!...Tomorrow morning i will be going to Washington DC with my classmates. The whole grade is going. Drowning In The Flood. \\// (NEW W!TG EP)
Well, it's been a week now since my town has been flooded. About a week ago we got a bunch of rainfall, and one of our close major rivers overflowed on basically flooded the whole town. We still went to school, but we got released early a lot. Now, finally, after a long week of rain, the water is starting to dry up. So, when we were being flooded, I only thought of one song..."Drowning In The Flood" by Watchout! Theres Ghosts! Jordan is one of my favorite artists, and I deeply respect his music and the meaning behind it. I really love this track. So...if any of guys are ever down-in-the-dumps, and it's raining outside, just listen to this track!
--
ALSO...just when I thought that W!TG was overwith...and given up all hope...all of a sudden...BAM! They released a new EP w/ Electric Valentine! This "Electric Ghost Split EP" includes tracks from EV & W!TG such as; "Delivering An Oration" "Damage Control" "Electric Ghosts" 2 Electric Ghosts Remixes, and a new track which is by both of them together. "One Year Later" or, which is also known as "Electric Ghosts Part II," is an amazing brand new track by them.
...All in all, check out both of these bands, because they are great! ;)
Snowed In.
Well, up in Mass, US, we just got a snow day! That means NO FREGGEN SCHOOL BABY! I can just relax all day...
I'm so glad we got snowed in...and for all you Breathe Carolina fans out there, hopefully you all like getting snowed in! Because B.C. sure does! A few years ago, during their "Gossip - EP" They made a song entitled; "Snowed In." It's a nice happy little song. No screams...no major crazy music beats...it seems kinda wintery and kinda Christmasy. Check it out! It's like an electropop/slow electro/pop song.
Listen to it whenever you get a snow day!
THX BREATHE CAROLINA!!!!
Cascada's Dance hit: "Everytime We Touch" Has been covered back Cash Cash! It's awesome...and a little different from their normal style. It's more electroRockish, with dancey beats, and there's even a sick rap verse. Personally, i like this style for them alot. It's more on the dance side! BREAK OUT YOU GUYS!!!
- Josh
OMG! I Think I Know What's Going On! >:( \\// So Far, He's Doing A Great Job! <:)
-
Well, As you know, BOTDF is a little different than before, now that Garret is gone. Right now, Dahvie and Jayy are making new songs. And even though I'm still mad/sad about the BOTDF controversy, of course, I'm still gonna listen to them! Anyways, I thought, okay, so the new BOTDF is just gonna make some new songs and just pick off where they left off. Nothing unusual. Horrifically Delicious, Success Is The Best Revenge, & Sexting. Those so far, are their new songs...and are pretty SWEET! But, one day, I saw a new "Crunk Man" remake. And I was like, oh, wow, they redid crunkman. I guess they like that song. Then, A Little bit later, they redid Designed To Kill! And I also heard that they will re-do Suicide Club, and Siq With a Q, etc... So, I said to myself...WHAT!? NO WAY! I believe that they're going to redo ALL of the BOTDF songs and replace 'em w/ the new ones. (Besides the first two Albums: L.T.A.R. & I.H.T.B.A.D.I.A.R.S.W.) anyways, this will totally stink. I guess Dahvie is real mad still and just wants to get the old songs out of his life, and bring on the new ones! Plus, the ones they redid, the originals are being taken off itunes. The old Extended Play w/ Crunkman and Beat it are gone, The Old Designed To Kill is gone, and Siq With a Q and Suicide Club are Gone. Soon, they will all be replaced. That is my prediction. I wonder what's gonna happen with "I scream I scream EP" And "OMFG Sneak Peak EP" Anyways, thought I'd just rant about that! ;) thx!
--
But...on the good side, Garret (From BOTDF) is now starting, and has, his new project called "Boy Talks Trash" It's like an Eletronica/Dance/Pop thing he's got going on there. BTT is similar to Electric Valentine, J Bigga, 3OH!3, The GLD, Watchout! Theres Ghosts, Owl City, LIGHTS, Breathe Carolina, Breathe Electric, The Metroid, J0HNNY/TheMedicDroid, Jeffree Star, Lady Gaga, Nickasaur!, BOTDF, Weston Buck, Brokencyde, The Crush, The Spin Cycle, Kill Paradise, ArtistVS.Poet, & PlayRadioPlay!.
Well, so far, he has an EP out. "The Dirty Pretty." And it's pretty great! ;)
Good luck to BTT, All the other bands, and goodluck to BOTDF...hope everything goes okay.
